Cold Chain Connect’s 4th Annual Partnership Meeting was a
resounding success! This year’s event, hosted in collaboration with Life
Logistics Network, Global Aircargo Alliance, and AirCargo Group, welcomed over
300 delegates from various territories worldwide.
The event was more than just about establishing valuable
business connections—it was a celebration of camaraderie and the birth of
lifelong friendships. It was an unforgettable occasion, leaving a lasting
impression on all attendees!
With great enthusiasm, we launched our #CCCinPhuket
Conference in the most thrilling way possible—a fellowship golf game with our
esteemed partners from Life Logistics Network, Global Aircargo Alliance, and
AirCargo Group on the sunny morning of May 13th. It was a fantastic day filled
with great shots, friendly competition, and networking on the green. Truly a
great start for a remarkable conference!
We officially commenced the conference on the afternoon of
May 13th. Melvin Xavier, Director & Co-Founder of CCC, took the stage to
present a comprehensive overview of the network's advancements and notable
milestones. Among the highlights was the astounding growth of our group,
skyrocketing from 42 members during the previous Kick-Off Meeting in 2019 to an
impressive 100 members to date.
The session was followed by the Newbie Open Mic, where new
CCC members introduced themselves and their companies. We also awarded our
3-year network loyalty award to Profreight Group (Thailand), represented by
Vorachit Ratanachinda.
The conference continued with our Diamond Sponsor’s
presentation by Shared Logistics (Netherlands), represented by Gervais Iralde,
who shared their cutting-edge services and solutions, leaving a lasting
impression on the attentive audience. Our RW Tech Sponsor, Tag-N-Trac,
represented by Steven Lesser, also took center stage to showcase their company
and the remarkable services they offer.
To top off our opening ceremony, we invited our founding
member Mike Jauregui from Share Logistics (Spain) and Reynir Gislason of
International Freight Shipping S.A.C for a panel discussion moderated by Melvin
Xavier on the topic: Navigating 2024 like a Pro.
The conference was off to an impressive start, combining
business acumen, industry expertise, and networking opportunities to shape a
truly remarkable event.
Gathered in stylish tropical attire, our delegates came
together for a splendid welcome cocktail gathering at the Le Meridien Beach
Front. The atmosphere was filled with joy and anticipation as we reunited with
our esteemed freight partners, reigniting cherished relationships and creating
new connections.
We thank Cargo Movers from Frankfurt, Germany, for
sponsoring our Welcome Cocktail. Your unwavering support added an extra touch
of magic to the event, making it all the more unforgettable. Cheers to
camaraderie and creating lasting memories together!
Aside from our signature social events, the face-to-face
meetings truly stole the spotlight at the CCC Annual Partnership Meeting. With
more than 300 freight forwarders from across the globe in attendance, the event
became a bustling hub of connection and exploration, brimming with
opportunities for fruitful collaboration. It was an incredibly rewarding and
productive day, leaving participants inspired by the potential for growth and
partnerships that lay before them.
Day 3 of our conference was a blast! We kicked things off
with an exciting City Tour at the Big Buddha and ended with a lively Sunset BBQ
Awards Night at the Mali Lawn of Le Meridien Phuket. Watching our members
unwind, dance with joy, and enjoy the festivities was a highlight!
During Conference Day 3, we also took the opportunity to
honor our freight partners who have been in the network for 5 years and those
who contributed greatly to the network’s advancement. We are pleased to grant
5-year loyalty awards to: Steven Hanke of PWL Worldwide Logistics GmbH &
Co. KG (Germany), Derick Robertson of GoReefers Logistics (Pty) Ltd (South
Africa), Soner Hosoglu of ARRIVATRANS AIR & SEA FORWARDING (Turkey), Irene
Zhang of EIMSKIP Logistics (Qingdao) Co. Ltd. (China), and Ashley Kwan of
InterMax Logistics Solutions Ltd. (China).
We also gave out Special Awards to our Best Partner in every
region. We have Steven Hanke of PWL Worldwide Logistics GmbH & Co. KG
(Germany) for the Best Partner in Europe, Xavier George of Golden Cargo Services
from UAE for our Best Partner in Africa and Middle East, Marcio Fiori of OPrimo
Log from Brazil for the Best Partner in Americas – North & South Region,
and Maneeya Khummuang, Thanaphat Triyakul, and Haruno Sekido of Jet8 Thailand
for the Best Partner in Asia and the Pacific. Another special award was given
to Gervais Iralde & Mike Jauregui of Share Logistics from the Netherlands
for having the greatest number of successful referrals in the network.
We extend our appreciation to our ever-supportive members.
